ODVA oversees the standards and application of the open network technologies based on the Common Industrial Protocol (CIP™). It offers conformance testing and oversees product compliance with the CIP™ network specifications to ensure a common network interface for these products. Spang’s 850 and 950 communications interface was rigorously tested by ODVA and certified compliant. With this certification, Spang now begins global shipments to its product and system customers for a variety of industrial applications.
